The Gratitude Journal - Day 3
Today’s Gratitude Journal list:
1. My neighbour N.G. - Thanks for giving me a lift home.
2. The doorman at N.G.’s building - I was just sitting in the lobby patiently waiting when this mammoth security guy gets up and walks toward me. Then he offers me, a complete stranger, a Werther’s caramel candy. Nice touch! Whatever he gets paid it should be doubled!
3. The Internet - I know kinda broad here - but its kinda like a best friend. It’s always there for you, ready to give more than you could ever hope to take. And it asks for nothing in return. Remember what life was like pre-internet? Neither do I.
4. All my friends - They say that a person is defined by the company he or she keeps. If that’s the case then my life couldn’t be better.
5. Persimmons - Finally after months of waiting patiently, fresh and firm persimmons have arrived at the local market. At 2 for a dollar I should have bought more than four. For those of you who have not encountered this wonderful fruit before, here’s a pic for educational purposes:
